Dr. Platt is an RCVS and EBVS Recognized Specialist in Veterinary Neurology who served as professor of neurology and neurosurgery at the University of Georgia until 2022, and he has written or co-written over 250 journal articles and 70 book chapters.
He is Editor in Chief of the NAVC journal Today's Veterinary Practice and a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. He currently runs a neurology consulting and training firm and serves as adjunct Clinical Professor at Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Mabry has practiced across Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina and has provided veterinary care to rural families in Costa Rica and Panama through a mission organization.
In 2019 he co-founded Oasis Animal Hospital & Emergency Center in Greenville, SC alongside Dr. Kristen Espinoza, a 10-doctor practice providing general, emergency, and advanced surgical care. His clinical interests include technology in the practice, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and urgent care.
An avid outdoorsman, he spends his time hiking the Carolinas and on his family's beef cattle farm.
